Rental Companies

Rent bikes, kayaks, e-scooters and gear by the hour or the week.

Rental operators use Fare Tours to publish live stock, price by duration, take deposits and hand over units without paperwork. Every item is tracked, so the same paddleboard can never be double-booked across your desk, your website and your reseller partners.

In short

Rental booking software tracks each item of stock, prices it by duration, collects deposits and produces a signed digital agreement at checkout. Fare Tours lets bike, kayak, e-scooter, ski and equipment hire businesses sell online, at the desk and through partners without double-booking a single unit. Late returns, extensions and damage waivers are handled by rules rather than argument.

  • Per-unit stock control with hourly, daily and weekly rates
  • Security deposits, damage waivers and signed digital agreements
  • Add-ons such as helmets, wetsuits, insurance and delivery
  • Late-return fees, extensions and pick-up/drop-off locations

How is stock kept from being double-booked?

Availability is held per unit, not per product line. If you own eight paddleboards, the ninth request is refused everywhere at the same moment — your website, your desk and your reseller partners all read the same counter. Maintenance and repairs can take a unit out of the pool without deleting its booking history.

How does duration pricing work?

Rates are defined by hour, half-day, day, week and season, with buffer time between hires for cleaning or checks. Peak dates can carry different pricing, and multi-item bookings price together so a family hiring four bikes and two helmets sees one total.

Add-ons such as helmets, wetsuits, delivery, collection and insurance attach to the hire and appear on the agreement, which is where most manual revenue leaks in this business.

What happens at handover and return?

The customer signs the hire agreement and damage waiver digitally at checkout, so nobody queues at your desk with a clipboard. A security deposit can be held and released automatically on return. If the unit comes back late, the late-return rule prices the extra time and charges it against the stored payment method, and extensions can be requested by the customer from their booking link.
